Well not actually better than my smartphone at lets say, making phone calls or browsing the web with one hand while sipping my geek haven cafe grande early in the morning or playing flash games from newgrounds or albino black sheep. It’s also totally useless if say I wanted to crank out a quick game of Modern Warfare 2 while chilling in a Wi FI enabled restaurant waiting for a business partner.

Just for the record what is it with your mobile devices being so god damned big you need a man bag. Chewbacca doesn’t have a man bag, Han Solo doesn’t have a man Bag. Luke Sky Walker has a man bag but even he doesn’t admit to it openly.

So look at it this way, the i-Pad can browse the net with a wonderful touch interface. Beyond that it’s a god damned geek wet dream toy. TOY. Admit it, it’s an expensive toy. If it was a tool, it would have a purpose, not force you to rationalise your purchase.

I’m thinking this kid had the right idea. Buy an i-Pad for a reason. Reason #1 To smash it in front of hundreds of lame desperate people who have camped out for day’s to buy this oversized plastic piece of geek toy and watch them cry. #2 to promote something randomly on youtube. At the date of publishing we are talking 2 Million hits. It seems I am not the only person who wants to see someone smash an i-Pad.

Lets be honest for a moment, it is entirely possible I am hating this product not because of its various flaws (It has many) but rather because I cannot afford one. Apple perhaps you should rectify this, silence one dissenting voice in the crowd. Oh hold on ? It needs i-Tunes to sync ? ROLFMAO !

Those of you who have played COD 4 will have undoubtedly appreciated in both console and PC form. Being that PC is my preferred gaming media device I will say COD4 on PC was better than COD 4 on Console however the experience is legitimately arguable. COD 4 brought real fps gaming to the Console. None of this uber jump and sniper pistols, no Zombies’ or Alien’s or Alien Zombies in fact not even forgetull pathing ai’s. COD 4 was plain and simple a tactical modern combat game across all consoles. ( It could be argued that COD 2 and COD 3 were pc/console equivalents. They weren’t!)

COD6 is that and more.

I’ve just finished the Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2 single player campaign on normal and I can only describe the experience as the single most intense and absorbing piece of entertainment media I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. ** please note full article may have spoilers. Though if you have been reading the news or have any interest in the game you’ll know what I’m talking about already.
