Remember back when Valve released that leaderboard DLC for Portal 2? Well, they also released another campaign for the Co-op.

This section includes a few harder puzzles, a similar ridiculous storyline as the orignal campaign, and of course, more GladOS.

So you’ve most likely read that in some countries (like our own), we the get censored version of Left 4 Dead 2. Well, a bunch of very clever indivuals worked out pretty early on that you could launch Left 4 Dead 2 as it’s Dedicated Server, and get gore that way. But what if you want your achievements, or want to play with your friends with the normal matchmaking tools?

Left4Uncut steps in here. This basically edits the memory of the game to say ‘hey look bro, you can go high violence now, it’s cool.’, and activates gore mode, without changing anything else. This means you still unlock achievements like normal, and can play matchmaking properly.

Currently, it doesn’t set off any VAC alerts, so it’s safe to play online with it. Not everyone has to be using it either; if you want it, launch the app before you start the game.

We aren’t talking some pansy arse fluttering through the forests here, this is hardcore mode where hardcore Australian men use hardcore words of a hardcore nature to prove there manly geekhood in a game only a true geek enthusiast would appreciate. No effeminate feelings here, nothing so touchy feely as a mass effect 3 FMV, hell no.

If you want to watch 3 skilled individuals traverse a truly postmodern artistic experience (that is an indy mod based off a retro game genre within in an indy game genre with retro designed… or something else with big words) then go somewhere else.

You wanna watch three Aussie geeks, having at each other with as much profanity as a late night after work gaming session can produce… well go no further.

Recently we have been looking at the Technic launcher for Minecraft, which automates the installation of some of the most popular mod packs for Minecraft, such as the yogbox. This also includes a modpack called Technic, which includes IndustrialCraft, BulidCraft, Redpower, and a lot of other mods that add a technical aspect to the standard Minecraft game.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Ubuntu has announced it’s official release of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.  Ubuntu 12.04 is a LTS release of Ubuntu, just like Ubuntu 10.04 was.  Ubuntu has a sleek, new and updated version of Unity, as well as a multifunctional HUD.  The HUD interface lets the Ubuntu user access software, files, and content through easy to use menus called Lenses.  Some of the new features of Ubuntu 12.04 are a new Video lens, and an updated full fledged software centre.  Although not entirely new to Ubuntu, the Ubuntu software centre allows users to download apps and sync them between Ubuntu computers!

Ubuntu does support a plethora of languages, and is fully customizable to suit whatever visual tastes you could possibly have!

When I started gaming, we didn’t have these fancy Xbox 360′s and PS3′s; we had the N64, the PSOne (which I sadly missed out on), and most importantly, the Game Boy. Bringing portable gaming to the masses, it also spawned some of todays greatest hit game series, the best of which was Pokemon.

Bringing simple turn-based gaming to the general public, with a hit soundtrack to boot, caused a revouloution which is still going on today.

So without further ado, here is a medley of some of the most reconiseable tunes for the 1st and 2nd generation.

Skyrim is a great game, but what excites most of us older gamers is the plethora of quality mods hitting the scene. It’s reminiscent of the glory days with Morrowind (though many would argue nothing could be as good as Morrowind. Damned hipsters.)

I’ve had an idea for a machinima series based in Skyrim and finding the correct balance of mods has become my personal project. Between Nude Skyrim Skins and Neko Anime Armour, theirs a carefull balance to be had with realism, fun and expanded content. I thought we would go over some of my favored mods and discuss exactly what it is they bring to the table.

Before I get to into this article I would like to say a silent prayer for Wars in Skyrim. It appears that due to this absolutely epic mod being ‘epic’ in scale and a great deal of douche-baggery and trolling on the authors pages this mod has been collapsed. Project Wars in Skyrim the story There is an alternative in the works and it looks like their might be hope however as it stands ‘the best mod for Skyrim’, Wars in Skyrim has been cancelled and all old versions removed from Nexus. It is a shame and a tragedy that the community was not able to support this modder in a way he found viable. Let us hope he returns to the table with a new project over the months to come.

Now a days kids are very fond of Video Games.Usually they like action and strategy games. Keeping the desires of users in mind, BioWare and EA(Electronic Arts) are going to launch Mass Effect 3. It is an action role-playing game which is fully compatible with PS3(PlayStation) Windows and Xbox 360. Officially this game was announced in December  2010 andit is due to launch on the 6th of March 2012. Well known composer Clint Masnsell who has done movies like The Fountain will be composing the score for Mass Effect 3. Sadly Jack Wall and Sam Hulik, composers of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 games were not selected.

Mass Effect is famous game series. Mass Effect 3 is intended to be the last game in the planned Mass Effect trilogy, This sequel will be influenced by decision from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and have setting through out the galaxy ,including other planets.  In Mass Effect 3 the fight has been alter and developed, now there will be more options of roaming in battlefield and Artificial intelligence has also improved. A four player multiplayer co-op mode will also be available.

Mass Effect 3 will have a Mass Effect 3 Trainer like we have for other series. As it is influenced by decisions of older parts of Mass Effect series, it follows Shepard’s mission to save galaxy from the Reapers by uniting the civilization of galaxy together, while also having to deal with Cerberus. Waves of enemies are dispatched and it depend on gamer to survive as he carry out various tasks. Skills have also been much developed, in addition to use familiar skills players will be able to buff-out specialized multiplayer skill using experience points.

For help in game you can also you use Mass Effect 3 Trainer. The Mass Effect 3 Trainer will be useful for player who have not experienced earlier parts of the series. People are expecting that Mass Effect 3 Trainer would be a blast like the game.

Minecraft is a sandbox building video game which allows players to build constructions out of textures cubes in 3D world. It was developed for about a week before its public release on May 17, 2009, and gained a considerable level of popularity.

We had found that there are so many users on the internet complaining about Minecraft lags. We are going to help some of them here:

Solutions:

1. Clean Registry Junk and Defrag the Registry
2. Set Minecraft Process Priority to High
3. Properly Set Process Affinity
4. Delete Browser History and Cache

Clean Registry Junk and Defrag the Registry

Registry is the central place of storing commonly shared application settings, user preferences, game statistics and files and objects (such as, DLLs) related information. Too many junk entries makes problem in the Minecraft game runtime. And, registry fragmentation slows down the process of retrieving necessary information from the registry by Minecraft game.

You have to defrag the registry and clean the junk entries properly. It is not possible to do both these activities manually. A third-party product is required. Get best registry cleaner and system optimizer for your computer/ laptop.

Set Minecraft Process Priority to High

Task Manager enables changing the processes priority to high, normal and low. By setting Minecraft priority as high, your operating system will better concentrate on it and thereby Minecraft lags will not occur.

1. Open the game.
2. Minimize it temporarily.
3. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
4. Select the option Start Task Manager.
5. Click Processes tab.
6. Right click the process JAVAW.EXE and select Set Priority | High.
7. Confirm the change by clicking Change Priority button in the confirmation dialog.
8. Close Task Manager.
9. Close and restart the game.

Properly Set Process Affinity

Processor affinity is a modification of the native central queue scheduling algorithm in a symmetric multiprocessing operating system. You need to set the Process Affinity as follows to fix Minecraft lagging problem.

1. Open the game.
2. Minimize it temporarily.
3. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
4. Select the option Start Task Manager.
5. Click Processes tab.
6. Right click JAVAW.EXE process and select Set Affinity.
7. Make sure that the only checkbox CPU 1 is checked and another, i.e. CPU 0 is unchecked.
8. Click OK button.
9. Close and restart the game.

Delete Browser History and Cache

Every web browser stores the information about the visited web sites, websites log-ins, form data and temporary files, as per its set-up. This leads slowing down your browser and thereby freezing down Minecraft game.

You need to erase the web history and delete the cache contents in order to fix this problem. A system cleaner and system optimizer utility may include system cleaner toolkit.
