This cartoon texture pack for Minecraft is great. Compatible with Minecraft 1.7.3 It’s not the best texture pack out there but it certainly adds a certain amount of charm to a scene. So if your looking for something just a little different why not give it a run. Also it’s important to note the screenshot don’t seem as up to date as the latest texture pack. I could take new screen shots or you could try it for yourself.

* How to install a Minecraft texture pack.

1. Start Minecraft

2. Click Mods and Textures.

3. Click Open Texture Pack Folder

4. Copy the downloaded zip folder (DO NOT UNZIP) into your texture folder.

5. Change the texture pack in Minecraft.

6. Enjoy the cartoony goodness.

Yes, that is not a typo. Team Fortress 2 is now free to play to all Steam subscribers, and even includes the Source SDK. To celebrate, Valve has also released the Uber Pack, giving the Medic a massive overhaul, with new weapons, and his own trailer. This also includes lots more items, more weapons, and of course, more hats for your hat collection goodness.

This is a interesting move by Valve to bring one of their most popular multiplayer games to the free level, just leaving the item shop in game as a service.

What do you think of this? Leave your comments below.

This is a video of a guy who took Half Life, and did a trailer of it, using original models and skeletons, but with one huge difference. He changed up the animations to match something you would see today. And it makes it look FANTASTIC. It is just neat to see an old game get such a cool makeover. It makes you wonder what old games would be like if you could play them like this

(e.d.) For those that are unfamiliar a brief introduction to the illustrious Gordon Freeman,

Dr. Gordon Ima Freeman, Ph.D. (born on November 19th, 1978 in Seattle, Washington) is a famous robot physicist and morphine-addict. He is the god of every basement dweller (mostly owing to the fact that he looks like them and is a geeky, spectacle totting faggot, minus 500lbs). Freeman first gained popularity with his appearance in the movie Chrono Trigger, where he portrayed the character Wedge. He has since become the center of attention to the public eye, starring in his own full-length film, Half-Life, a sequel, and making cameo appearances in Halo: Combat Pussified in which he brutally beats the living fucking shit out of Master Chief with a crowbar for calling him a nerd, and Halo 2: Oh God, Not More of the Same Insane Bullsh- OH RAGDOLL PHYSICS. He is, however, superior to the Master Chief in that he can carry a million guns at any given time and still move around like he isn’t carrying anything, and can mysteriously take fifty bullets to the head and survive, so long as he stands near anything with a red cross on it. He also suffers from Stage 4 SHM.

If you’ve been playing Portal 2 Co-Op lately, you may have seen this being spammed in the Game Console:
DLCMANAGER: RequestDlcUpdate has no new content.

Kudos to Rocketbean at the Steam Forums for the image.

While Valve haven’t offically given a exact date for release of their first DLC Pack (Other than Summer 2011), this hopefully means that Valve is yet again willing to release something early. Only time will tell.

Hey Everybody:

As you all know Minecraft is on its way to final release. Notch and Co. are working hard to develop new “stuff” for the game. Over the past few months we’ve seen a huge growth in the amount of added features. Wolves, weather, cake, cookies, and powered rails are just to name a few. I myself am a fan of the new additions, and I am looking forward to more in the future. My question to you is…. What would you like to be added to the game?

Leave a comment below! And if you enjoyed yourself on this site, why not donate! Any amount is appreciated!

Anywho, enjoy!

Cheers.

Breach is a game of potential offering destructible environments and small arms tactical game play built around real world scenarios.

As a FPS Breach doesn’t lead the pack, and it is certainly not perfect but when looking for cheap games to unleash on small LAN’s it has serious potential.

Watch… Breach game-play at E3

We will begin with the pros.

Breach offers well crafted maps with destructible environments and realistic tactical situations. Offering simple and yet realistic weapon choices and keeping to a real world portrayal of their use and effectiveness (we excuse the close range use of sniper rifles since without them, FPS **** would cry.)

Running on modest systems and decent laptops (tested on Asus G73 working. Tested on ALienware m17x with SLI for a epic fail.) breach brings a lot to the low budget consumer. Great physics, good graphics and enjoyable game-play for budget cost, can be a little difficult to pull off with a pitiful p4 2.4 and an old Nvidia 8600 however Breach nails it.

Still Atomic’s Breach shows some serious cons.

Breach is not entirely original, derivative of several AAA titles Breach lacks any single strength. Although the destructible environment is enjoyable it is lacking featuring specific intended areas for alternate access and defense positions. Breach does not feature the fully destructible environment it promised.

Breach is still extremely buggy. Suffering under SLI (Confirmed with Alienware x17x, absolute epic fail) and sometimes Quad and Six core system ( unconfirmed, perhaps patched.) Breach lacks the quality testing we would see on AAA titles. Breach’s server is what can only be considered a failure (Confirmed, and an absolute atrocity for LAN play) and is, in my honest opinion, the game’s greatest barrier to a larger and more active player base.

Breach’s game play gets stale, featuring mainstay FPS gaming options like Capture the Flag and Deathmatch it lags any defining game mode. Although convoy is fun and ‘somewhat’ original it cannot maintain the game as a full featured release.

Graphics are a little dated, comparatively although in fairness it runs well on a very modest system.

The menu is terrible, and you are forced to navigate it each and every time you wish to update your characters perks and equipment. A perfect example of a rushed UI job.

So in conclusion should you buy Breach.

Yes, breach offers a great deal for it’s budget price. Not only will you be grabbing a Counter Strike replacement (a game it feels like, with added features.) you will help support independent developers and help take those AAA vendors a notch.
